Denver New Year’s Eve Hotel Packages 2026: Party Downstairs, Sleep Upstairs
The single most useful question on New Year’s Eve is where your bed is at 12:01. Here is every downtown Denver hotel with a party or a package on December 31, 2026, what each one includes, and the math on a room versus the ride home.
Book the Ritz Room Block Get White Rose Gala Tickets
Every New Year’s Eve party in Denver ends the same way: a few thousand people on the same sidewalks at the same minute, in the teens, opening the same app. Uber’s own numbers say the busiest window of the year is 12:30 to 2:30 AM on New Year’s and fares can run several times normal. A hotel room downtown isn’t a splurge on this night, it’s the thing that makes the rest of the night work. Split two ways it usually beats two surge rides. Split four ways it isn’t close.
The short version
Only one downtown hotel is the party and the bed in the same building with a group rate for the guests: The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, which White Rose Gala takes over on December 31 with discounted rooms through our link. The Brown Palace throws Midnight at the Brown in its atrium and it’s free for hotel guests. The Crawford at Union Station has offered a masquerade package with the Cooper Lounge party, valet and late checkout. The Sheraton hosts a ballroom party but sells it separately from rooms. Four Seasons does a soiree at its bar. Everything else downtown is a room near a party, which is fine, just know the difference.

The Ritz-Carlton room block: how it works
White Rose Gala has a room block at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver for December 31, 2026 at a discounted group rate, booked through our link, not through the hotel’s main site. A few things to know before you click:
- The block is finite and the rate is not guaranteed past it. When the block sells through, the hotel goes back to whatever it’s charging that week, which on New Year’s Eve is a lot. This is the one night a year we tell people to book the room before the ticket.
- The room and the ticket are separate purchases. The room link is the hotel’s booking system. Gala tickets are on TicketFairy, $109 with fees included, one tier, everyone’s a VIP. Tables for four are $163.50 and don’t include entry.
- Check-in is the afternoon of the 31st, checkout is the 1st. January 1, 2027 is a Friday and a federal holiday. Ask the front desk about late checkout when you arrive, not at 11 AM.
- Parking and valet are the hotel’s, not ours. Downtown valet on New Year’s Eve runs well above a normal night at every hotel on this list (the Sheraton posts $67). Ask when you book, or skip the car entirely and take the free train in.
- You don’t need a room to come to the gala, and you don’t need a gala ticket to book the block, though the rate is meant for our guests. Plenty of people split a room four ways and only two of them end up in the ballroom.

The math: a room versus the ride home
Here’s the comparison nobody does until 12:20 AM on the sidewalk.
The ride. Uber says New Year’s is its busiest night and that the 12:30 to 2:30 AM window can run seven times normal fares. A ride that’s $25 on a Tuesday is a coin flip between $60 and $150 at 12:45 on January 1, and you’ll wait for it in the cold. Two people going two directions is two of those. Then there’s the ride in.
The room. One number, split by however many of you there are, and it includes the ride home, the coat check, the late-night delivery to the lobby, and a bed that’s an elevator away from the ballroom. Four friends in a two-queen room is the most underrated New Year’s Eve move in Denver.
The free option. RTD runs free from 7 PM to 7 AM, and if your last train leaves before you want to leave (last year’s last trains out of Union Station ran 12:48 to 1:26 AM), it’s a real answer. It just means leaving the party at 12:30.
Where the rooms are relative to the fireworks. The downtown fireworks fire from rooftops over 16th Street at 9 PM and midnight. The Sheraton, the Hyatt Regency and Le Méridien sit on or beside the mall, the Ritz is three blocks up Curtis, and the Brown Palace is a block off it at 17th and Tremont. The Crawford and the Maven are at the Union Station end, a ten-minute walk.
Build your own package: parties and the nearest bed
Parties that don’t come with a hotel, and the nearest bed to each, so you can build your own package:
- Decadence at the Convention Center: the Hyatt Regency is attached to the building, and Four Seasons and the Curtis are a block away. Expect convention-center pricing.
- Pretty Lights at Mission Ballroom and the RiNo bars: the Ramble, the Source Hotel and the Catbird are the RiNo hotels; the Crawford and the Maven are a 15-minute walk.
- Meow Wolf: nothing walkable. Take the train (the Decatur-Federal station is next door) or plan the ride.
- The Fillmore and the Ogden on Colfax: no hotel on that stretch worth recommending; downtown is a 10-minute ride, or the free bus on Colfax.
- The Sheraton party, Midnight at the Brown, Union Station: all have rooms upstairs; see the table. Only the Brown throws its guests in free.
Every party with prices and hours is on the Denver NYE parties page; the shows are on the concerts page.
Midnight isn’t last call. It’s a venue change.
Book the room through our link, and 1 AM isn’t an ending, it’s the cue to move the party to your own floor with the people you came with. Sleep in. It’s a holiday.

Denver NYE hotel packages FAQ
How this page works: each hotel’s party, package and parking details above were checked against the hotel’s own site or booking page. Hotels marked pending ran a New Year’s Eve event last year and hadn’t posted 2026 details at our last update, so last year’s format is listed rather than guessed at. Nightly rates are deliberately not quoted; they change daily and the links go to the source. We re-check weekly through December 31. Spot an error? Tell us and we’ll fix it. More from us: the complete Denver NYE calendar, every NYE party, fireworks times and viewing spots, concerts on December 31, the White Rose Gala FAQ, and photos from past years.
