Denver New Year’s Eve Parties 2026: Every NYE Party Worth Dressing Up For

New Year’s Eve 2026 is a Thursday with a Friday holiday behind it, so nearly everyone has a three-day weekend starting at midnight. That changes the math on every party in town: expect Saturday-night crowds, earlier sellouts, and no walk-up tickets at anything with a capacity. Here is every Denver NYE party for December 31, organized by what kind of night you want, with the honest price for each.

You want a big dressed-up party with a band: White Rose Gala. Gatsby ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton, live swing band, DJs, showgirls, balloon drop at midnight, 21+. Our own breakdown, including reasons to skip us, is further down.

You want the open bar built into the ticket: the Sheraton Denver Downtown party sells it that way, premium open bar for the whole night, presale only. Price it against $109 plus your tab and pick.

You want a festival, not a party: Decadence. Two nights, a convention center full of stages, Marshmello and GRiZ on the 31st. If a specific DJ is the reason you’re going out, take it.

You want a concert with a countdown: Pretty Lights at Mission Ballroom, The Polish Ambassador at the Fillmore, Umphrey’s McGee at the Ogden. All three are on our concerts page with times and links.

You want weird and immersive: Meow Wolf’s Carousel. DJs, a sideshow, burlesque, stilt walkers and carnival snacks inside Convergence Station, 21+.

You want old Denver: Midnight at the Brown, in the Brown Palace atrium with a live band and a welcome champagne. Free if you’re a hotel guest or you ate at Palace Arms.

You want dinner to be the event: Nocturne’s late seating with a four-course menu and a midnight toast, or the Four Seasons soiree at EDGE. Both pending 2026 details.

You want cheap and loud: a bar crawl. Wristband, drink specials, a dozen bars, the group back together for midnight, usually $15 to $40.

You want to laugh at midnight: Comedy Works, downtown or south. The 10 PM shows do the countdown with the comics for $60.

You want it free: the fireworks at 9 and midnight. No party required.

In time order. Prices are what the organizer posts, with fees included where they say so. Ticket links go to the organizer, not a reseller.

Not on this list on purpose: Resolution NYE. That site still ranks for Denver NYE parties but hasn’t announced an event since 2022. If you bought a ticket to something called Resolution, check who sold it to you.

We produce this one, so read this section knowing that, and knowing we’d rather you pick the right night than buy the wrong ticket.

What it is: the 24th annual White Rose Gala, a New Year’s Eve takeover of The Ritz-Carlton, Denver at 1881 Curtis Street. Gatsby theme, art deco decor, a live swing band and DJs across a ballroom and a speakeasy room, theatrical performers, selfie stations, and a countdown with a balloon drop at midnight. 21+, 8 PM to 1 AM, doors at 8. One ticket tier this year, $109 with fees included, on TicketFairy. Reserved tables for four are $163.50 and don’t include entry. Drinks are cash bar. Dress to impress: flapper dresses, feathers, suits and hats are encouraged, not enforced at the door. Discounted rooms at the Ritz are through our link while the block lasts.

And what we’re best at, the reason this is year twenty-four: it’s the only New Year’s Eve party in Denver you don’t have to leave. The hotel packages page has the room math. The photo gallery has fifteen years of proof.

Dress codes. White Rose Gala is dress to impress with a Gatsby lean. The Sheraton party and the Cooper Lounge masquerade are cocktail attire. Decadence is festival wear and a coat you’re willing to lose. Meow Wolf is anything. The Grizzly Rose is boots. If the invite says black tie optional, it means a suit is fine.

Presales and sellouts. The Sheraton party is presale only with no door sales, the Cooper Lounge masquerade sold out last year, and Decadence’s early tiers were gone by October. With a three-day weekend behind this New Year’s Eve, assume every room with a capacity sells out before the week of. Buy the week you decide.

Getting home. RTD runs free from 7 PM to 7 AM but thins after midnight; last year’s last trains left Union Station between 12:48 and 1:26 AM. Rideshare peaks from 12:30 to 2:30 AM and can run several times normal. Every party on this page except the hotel ones ends with you on a curb at surge hour, in the teens. Plan the ride before you plan the drink, or book a room where the party is.

Thursday into Friday. January 1, 2027 is a Friday and a federal holiday. Late checkouts and New Year’s Day brunches (The Curtis’s Corner Office, Kachina at the Maven) are the move if you stayed downtown.
